Our commitment is to ensure that our activities preserve and protect the natural environment, surroundings and our community.

To achieve this, we will as a minimum, fulfil required existing regulations and standards, trying to reduce the impact our activities and services have on the environment.

We place emphasis on the prevention of pollution, recycling of waste and on achieving a surrounding of continuous improvement and on teamwork.

To help us reach our goals we will ensure that everyone who works with us works to this policy.

We endeavour to minimise the environmental impact of our activities in the following ways:

• Use of Resources. Ours is a paper-hungry service but we try to minimise the use of paper by using e-mail for sending reports etc. and for producing recruitment materials. Where the use of paper is inevitable we always try to use recycled and chlorine free paper. All our used material, including printer cartridges are sent for recycling. We require our associates to do the same.
• Transport. We travel a great deal in the delivery of our services but use public transport whenever possible and arrange our timetables to cover as much work as possible in one visit. Meetings with our associate consultants are also arranged in conjunction with other work or else telephone, video conferencing or e-mail is used to communicate. Unnecessary and unproductive journeys are kept to a minimum.
• Contribution to the local economy. We use local services whenever possible to supply us with our materials and whenever we need to stay away from our home base, we always arrange our overnight accommodation in the client authority area and use their local services.
